Russia says harvests 21 mln tns of grain so far
MOSCOW, Jul 20 (PRIME) – Russia has harvested over 21 million tonnes so far, Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev said at a presidential meeting with the government late on Wednesday.
"Now, concerning harvesting. It has become active and is carried out in 35 regions of the Russian Federation,” he said.
“More than 21 million tonnes of grain have been harvested."
He forecasted a crop of at least 123 million tonnes at the end of harvesting if the weather is good translating into an export potential of about 55 million tonnes.
